PROFESSIONAL AND BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
Test Case Development and Testing Supervisor: July - September 2002
Responsible for creating the Customer Acceptance Test scripts for the initial phase
of the Human Resources Knowledge Management project at a leading airline. The
project included implementing Interwoven TeamSite as the Content Management solution
and creating a website to be integrated with the current employee portal in order to
include benefits information. Acted as the testing supervisor, overseeing ten people.
Worked directly with the client to answer questions and give guidance during Customer
Acceptance Testing. Acted as the link between the development team and client to
resolve all issues and address any outstanding problems. Consistently kept a defect
report updated and resolved issues whenever possible. Met with the Client project
manager daily to discuss and prioritize any existing defects.
Training Development and Delivery: June - July 2001
Worked with the development team to create training materials for Interwoven Team Site,
the Content Management Solution for the Human Resources Knowledge Management project at
a major airline. Worked with the application development team to ensure accurate, high
quality documents. Created the training manual, put together demos and created training
agenda for the HR Content Management training. Delivered end user training to both
business users and future Content Management trainers.

Observations/Measurement Team Member: February 2002
Identified passenger flows through the aviation system for a government agency.
Highlighed bottlenecks, barriers, and obstacles in the current security system,
identified best practices and best of breed technologies that would better support
the security processes within the aviation system, and defined metrics that permit
the measurement for future process improvements. Developed and implemented a
methodology to observe, measure and model passenger touchpoints within the passenger
experience.

Training Development and Delivery: August - October 2001
Worked on the process team to develop training materials for the implementations
of Seibel, Granite, Remedy, Kintana and Portal. Solely responsible for developing
user manuals for the Remedy Problem Management trouble ticketing system and the Remedy
Change Management change request application. Worked with process team members and
application development team to ensure an accurate, high quality documents. Created
the work instruction templates, exercise templates, and created the document standards
for use by the entire training team. Responsible for leading process and application
validation sessions with user groups across Sprint. Delivered end user training to
users from several different geographical areas using Sprint's U of E Live tool.
Responsible for creating data load for the Remedy training sessions, and creating
exercises for all of the end users.
Project Management Office: June 2001
Worked with the Project Management Team to organize and plan several upcoming
e-business infrastructure projects for a large airline. Acquired project team
and client team experience. Created and updated Microsoft Project Plans for
various projects, created Visio diagrams and created various documents for the
use of all team members.
MLP PARS Plus: 03/02/01
Worked with the TLS Master Limited Partnerships Group. Client team staff
member responsible for the processing of 11 MLP clients. Acquired project
team experience through interaction with team members and managers, put in
extremely long hours and worked with time sensitive client deadlines.
Developed an understanding of a PwC leveraged software package PARSPlus
and reconciled PARSPlus output reports to ensure 100% accuracy while meeting
client reviews and delivery deadlines. Enhanced technical skillset through
database and report writer utilities such as SQL Series 7 and Crystal Reports.
Responsibilities included maintenance and preparation of client data, data
analysis, analysis of system issues/problems and implementation of appropriate s
olutions. Developed and documented process innovations for future project
processing seasons, and gained a foundation of tax experience and understanding
of MLP business processes. Interfaced and reconciled external source information,
calculated tax amounts and prepared for the forwarding of client data to mail
vendor to ensure timely delivery of investor tax packages for each client.
ASCENT Foundation: 12/01/00
Successfully completed the PricewaterhouseCoopers ASCENT training program in
December, 2000. ASCENT's curriculum emphasizes experience with n-tier technologies.
Design and developed batch and on-line Java programs including unit test plans using
the PwC system development methodology. Participated in the system test of on-line
and batch applications. The ten-week program employed Java, SQL (for ORACLE8 database
accessing), UNIX fundamentals, and a a graphical user interface (GUI) Java development
tool to develop an on-line client server application.
ATG Web Development SSI
The Web Development SSI is a three week course designed to introduce participants with
client side Java experience to server side programming and interaction. Course topics
include HTML, JavaScript, XML, Servlets, and Enterprise Java Beans. The topic areas
presented during the first week utilized lectures, assigned readings, exercises, and
labs. The second week reinforced the topics learned the first week with a six-day
group assignment which all participants were required to participate in and complete.
The final week of the Web Development SSI covered ATG Dynamo vendor training, where
participants learned an overview of the Dynamo architecture, key terminology, and the
Dynamo Developer Workbench. Other topics covered included tracking and storing session
information, creating and maintaining HTML/Java pages, creating and accessing
server-side Java Servlet and Bean components, and accessing database information
using relational views. The second section of the course covers understanding
personalization, setting up the profile database, setting up a content repository,
creating rules for targeting content, setting up targeting services, using Dynamo
Servlet Beans, tracking visitor behavior, and configuring the Personalization Server.
The last section of the course covers ATG's Commerce Server architecture, creating
category and product templates, setting up promotions, configuring the order process,
and understanding the commerce server database.
ORACLE - Used DDL to create database tables and constraints in the Oracle relational
database. Loaded information into tables using SQLLoader. Modified data via DML.
Java - Developed GUI application in JDeveloper/Oracle AppBuilder tool. Designed, coded
and unit tested in a three-tier platform (PC, web server and Oracle). Excecuted a string
test plan to verify the application functionality according to specifications. Completed
an introduction to internet programming on Sun server. Implemented e-commerce application
through on-line sales catalog.
System Testing - Ran a 3 tier system test plan, which included 4-6 cycles. Documented
the cycle execution. Created TPR's and SCR's. Also fixed existing TPR's and implemented
existing SCR's. Used Contemplate to document the cycle runs.
Internships:
PrimeCo Personal Communications: Worked as a Radio Frequency Engineering Systems Analyst
for nine months. Responsibilities included trending system statistics using various tools
and programs, and maintaining network optimization by continually troubleshooting problems
in the fast-paced cellular industry. Created a training program for network technicians on
how to troubleshoot network problems.
